- Safe Activated Carbon Material: The cartridge uses activated carbon as the filtration medium. Since activated carbon is approved as a food additive, it can be used safely and with confidence.
- Removal of Residual Chlorine: When residual chlorine in tap water comes into contact with hair, it can oxidize and break down keratin proteins, causing split ends, hair breakage, dandruff, and itchiness. Likewise, chlorine oxidizes the proteins in the skin, reducing its natural moisture retention. This can lead to disruption of the stratum corneum, making skin more sensitive to irritation, and can also facilitate the penetration of bacterial allergens, potentially triggering sensitive skin or atopic dermatitis.
